Olympos is one of the most popular destinations on the southern coastline of Turkey, known for its beautiful beach that you reach by walking through ancient ruins surrounded by forested mountains. While the natural beauty of this area attracts travellers from around the world, one of the main reasons visitors come here is to join the Olympos to Fethiye Blue Cruise, a four-day, three-night journey along the spectacular Blue Cruise Turkey coastline.

During this Turkey Gulet Cruise, you will sail aboard a traditional gulet vessel along the Mediterranean Sea, discovering hidden bays, ancient coastal sites, and turquoise swimming spots along the famous Turquoise Coast. You will relax on deck, swim in clear water, and experience one of the most memorable journeys along the route.

The traditional Turkey gulet boats used for this journey are maintained to a high standard, creating a comfortable and social atmosphere while you travel along the coastline. You will share this Turkey yacht with an international group of around 16–18 travellers, giving you the opportunity to meet people from many different countries while exploring the Mediterranean.

If you are travelling as a pair, you will stay in your own private cabin, while some gulets offer triple cabins if you are travelling with friends. Solo travellers are welcome and you will be paired with another solo traveller on the day of departure. All cabins include a private bathroom and bedding is provided for your comfort, but please bring your own towel as towels are not supplied on board.

During your Olympos to Fethiye Blue Cruise, you will discover some of the most impressive historical and natural highlights along the Turkish coast. You will explore the Sunken City of Kekova, visit Simena Castle, and enjoy swimming and snorkelling in clear Mediterranean waters. The journey also includes famous natural locations such as Oludeniz Beach and Butterfly Valley, where you can swim, relax, and explore the dramatic coastline along the Blue Cruise Turkey route.

The southern coastline of Turkey is often called the Turquoise Coast, and when you anchor in these crystal-clear bays during your journey, you will quickly understand why this region has become one of the most famous sailing areas in the Mediterranean.

Important note: although the term sail is commonly used, most Turkish gulet boats travel primarily using their engines rather than sails while navigating this coastline.

Route Itinerary

DAY 1

Olympos/Demre > Sunken city

At around 10:30 AM, our ground team will pick you up from Olympos in front of Bayram's Tree Houses, our meeting point in Olympos. A second pickup takes place from Olympos Junction between 10:45 – 11:00 AM (this is the meeting point for guests staying in Çıralı, not a direct pickup in Çıralı).

You will then travel by land to Demre, where there will be another pickup at 12:00 noon from Demre bus station. All guests will then be transferred to Demre Çayağzı Harbour, where your gulet awaits. After check-in, you will receive a short overview of your Olympos to Fethiye Blue Cruise before lunch is served.

You will then cruise past the famous Sunken City of Kekova, an ancient Lycian settlement whose half-submerged ruins can still be seen beneath the clear turquoise waters. Next, you will visit Kaleköy Village, a beautiful seaside village built around Simena Castle. You can explore the narrow lanes, see Lycian tombs along the shoreline, and enjoy panoramic views across the stunning Kekova archipelago. You may also like to try the village’s famous homemade ice cream.

Later in the day, you will cruise to Gökkaya Bay for swimming, snorkelling, relaxing on deck, or enjoying optional watersports available through local providers. Dinner will be served on board as the sun sets over this peaceful bay.

Smugglers Inn Island Bar

In the evening, you may visit Smugglers Inn Bar, a lively open-air island bar reached only by boat. It is a great place to meet guests from other gulets and enjoy music under the stars. If you prefer, you are also welcome to stay on board for a quiet night.

DAY 2

Kekova > Kas

On the second day of your Olympos to Fethiye Blue Cruise, you will begin with an early sail to Limanagzi Bay for breakfast, a beautiful clear bay perfect for paddleboarding and a refreshing morning swim.

Next, you will cruise to Kas, a charming coastal town with Lycian, Roman, and Ottoman roots. Once a small fishing village, Kas is now known for its picturesque harbour, historic streets, jewellery shops, and boutique stores. You will have free time to explore, browse the town, or relax by the sea.

For those looking to explore beneath the surface, Kas offers more than 40 dive sites, making it one of the top diving destinations on a gulet cruise in Turkey. After Kas, you will enjoy lunch at Hidayet Bay, a beautiful swimming spot known for its clear turquoise waters, before sailing to Aquarium Bay for the night. This peaceful anchorage is perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing on deck in calm Mediterranean surroundings.

DAY 3

Butterfly Valley > Blue Lagoon

You will wake up in Butterfly Valley, surrounded by towering cliffs and turquoise waters along Turkey’s stunning Turquoise Coast. You can enjoy a morning swim, have breakfast on board, or take an optional hike to the hidden waterfall, where water levels vary seasonally, home to more than 130 species of butterflies and moths.

By midday, you will sail to the iconic Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, one of the most photographed beaches in the world. You can swim in calm, crystal-clear waters or relax on deck as paragliders drift down from the surrounding mountains.

You can take off from Babadag Mountain (2,000 m) for a 30–45 minute tandem flight, offering breathtaking aerial views of Oludeniz and the coastline during your gulet cruise Turkey.

DAY 4

St Nicholas Island > Fethiye

On the final day of your Olympos to Fethiye Blue Cruise, you will enjoy a relaxed and easy morning on board your gulet. You will sail to Tarzan Bay for breakfast, followed by Samanlik Bay, where you can enjoy your final swim and make the most of your last moments on your gulet cruise in Turkey.

After lunch, your gulet will enter Fethiye Harbour between 1:00 – 2:00 PM, where you will disembark and say farewell to your newfound friends and friendly crew.

Please note that your Blue Cruise ends in Fethiye port. A crew member will meet the gulet to assist guests who have pre-booked onward transfers. Please click here to see all package tours.
